July!

Holy cow! Time is flying by and it's not giving me any time to update this blog! I did Libby's the other day and need to do Madeline's. It's Friday night and I'm heading to bed. Must... do... blog... tomorrow... or... else...

First month as a big sister

Madeline is such a wonderful big sister! She helps out and loves as much as she can on Libby. She's wined a few times about doing things we ask her to, but what 6 year old doesn't?!
School's going great still and she took two dance clinic a couple weeks ago. One was put on by one of my girls on the team and the other was a clinic the team puts on for all the k-8th graders out here. Madeline got to dance during half time at the high school basketball game. She did a great job!
What else... She's taking a science class on Tuesdays after school that she really enjoys and wants to play t-ball this spring. She's still doing ballet and just found out that her class will be trees in their recital at the end of the year. The costumes are gorgeous! She's such a little dancer! I love watching her practice and dance around the house and every where she goes. I hope both my girls are dancers but we'll encourage them to do as many things as they want!

Proud Big Sister

Oh, Madeline is soaking this up! She can't get enough of her baby sister. The first few days were tough with everyone coming to visit Libby and not necessarily Madeline, but she figured it out and each day she's getting better at sharing the spot light. It must be hard for her having been an only child for so long!
I have to admit she seems like such a big girl now that there's someone smaller than her around. She's still my itty bitty, but it hit me one day, watching her hold Libby, how fast she's growing up. We are so very blessed to have two such beautiful girls!
